After a brief but inspiring stop over in Hong Kong I am now in Paris and have found a quiet moment to reflect. The last few days in Melbourne were frenetic, tying up loose ends and catching up with friends and family. The packing up of my apartment was perhaps the most time consuming activity – obsessive compulsive alphabetical and chronological filing systems were a strange highlight.

I am not sure I felt sad to leave; I am not sure I had time to think about it. Needless to say I will miss family, friends and work colleagues. I am both nervous and exhilerated by the adventure that awaits. Serendipidty and persistence.
