Manuel expressed a disinterest in making aesthetic decisions and this has determined a conceptual approach to his design process with which he draws out fascinating potential.

Much of the work Manuel has completed concerns itself with the process of communication – it is open-ended in its delivery and celebrates a certain ambiguity. Manuel creates spaces that ask questions and enable dialogue rather than presenting answers or didactic top-down solutions.

Although somewhat dismissive of his interest in the specifics of graphic design practice Manuel has produced a body of work that exhibits the skills of a consummate graphic designer. In addition to print-based graphic design outcomes Manuel has realised projects in various other formats ranging from exhibition design to video.

Alongside his client commissioned projects Manuel also pursues various self-initiated undertakings that include print projects and also extend to furniture and product design projects.

Manuel has created an intriguing body of work that reveals his capacity for complex aesthetic and theoretical thinking.

Vielen Dank Manuel.
