Anja and Anna also recently collaborated on a project that was published in the Japanese graphic design journal Idea. The project took the form of a debate and its premise was an investigation of the traditionalism and conservatism that characterise the current political, social and cultural atmospheres. The project brought together a number of international designers to debate the current state of graphic design and the resulting discussion revealed a thought provoking analysis. | Anja has a commitment to the critical analysis of design. Her engagement with the issues that surround design calls for designers to be aware of the influence the profession holds within contemporary society and the responsibilities that accompany that influence. Anja provides spaces for these issues to be investigated and her questions reveal the complexities of contemporary graphic design. Vielen Dank Anja. |
